About our Presenter...
Located in West Michigan, Melanie is a talented and engaging dementia educator and speaker, who has trained and coached hundreds of healthcare and community professionals in Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® (PAC™).
Skilled in utilizing the Adult Education Learning Cycle, she incorporates a variety of modalities to make learning fun and memorable. Each session focuses on:

Credentials:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Calvin University in 1997

Registered Nurse, licensed through the State of Michigan

Positive Approach to Care® Certified Dementia Trainer (PAC-CDT/L), Tier 3

Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners
